All wing rib forms were made from 3/4" MDF which was left over from other projects, Part of it was plain, and part was coated with a white coating (I think it is a plastic coating) which was leftover from a shelving project. I traced the patterns from the plans onto mylar, and then glued the mylar patterns to the MDF, cut them out on the bandsaw. They were then sanded on the belt sander, and the edges of both sides were routed with a 1/8" roundover bit. I then sanded the ebges by hand and marked hole dimensions and rivet spacing. They should be ready to go.

I started building flanging blocks and will try them out and see how they work. Thanks to Debo Cox from the Zenith list for the idea of building them from Trex deck material. I think they will work fine, and they are easy to turn out on the lathe. below is a couple of pictures of the first one I built.
